During a movie someone asked me “So you’re vegetarian?” I nodded. “So how do you feel knowing there’s a bunch of yummy meat in the world?” I shrugged and people turned around because he was being loud. “You don’t like steak?”

It’s not a matter of whether or not you LIKE the meat. Sometimes you have to commit to sacrifice things for the better. Like yes, I like my steak medium rare, but I’m not going to eat it anymore. It doesn’t really bother me. So you don’t have to lean to your friend and talk about me being a vegetarian when I’m RIGHT beside you and can hear you.
